Sort By

The dialog appears when you select Sort By as value of the Sort option in the Options box of the New Parameter dialog or Edit Parameter dialog. It helps you to sort values of cascading parameters by sorting other fields in the same data source as the cascading group.

Resources

Lists the fields in the same data source as the cascading group.

Adds the selected field to be sorted.

Removes the selected field from being sorted.

Moves the selected field one level up.

Moves the selected field one level down.

Sort By

Lists the added fields to be sorted. The order of the fields determines the order of being sorted. The first field will be sorted first, and the last field will be sorted last.

Sort

Sorts the added fields one by one.

• Ascend
  Sorts the current field in an ascending order.
• Descend
  Sorts the current field in a descending order.

OK

Applies the sorting and closes the dialog.

Cancel

Cancels the sorting and closes the dialog.
