Web Report Studio Profile

This dialog appears when you click the New Profile link in the Profile > Customize Profile > Web Report Studio > Features tab on the JReport Administration page. It helps you to create profiles for applying in Web Report Studio.

Web Report Studio Profile Name

Specifies the name for the new profile.

Description

Specifies information about the new profile.

Edit Mode

In this tab, you can turn on/off the required Web Report Studio edit mode features for the profile.

• New Report
  Specifies to enable the New Report feature which allows you to create a new web report based on an existing business view.
• Open
  Specifies to enable the Open feature which allows you to open a web report.
• Save
  Specifies to enable the Save feature which allows you to save the changes of the current web report.
• Save As
  Specifies to enable the Save As feature which allows you to save a copy of the web report or the report template in the current web report to server resources.
• Export
  Specifies to enable the Export feature which allows you to export the report result to disk or version in various formats.
• Page Setup
  Specifies to enable the Page Setup feature which allows you to configure the report page settings.
• Print
  Specifies to enable the Print feature which displays the Print dialog for printing the web report result.
• Refresh
  Specifies to enable the Refresh feature which allows you to reload the report data.
• Undo
  Specifies to enable the Undo feature which allows you to undo the last operation.
• Redo
  Specifies to enable the Redo feature which allows you to reverse the operation of Undo.
• Filter
  Specifies to enable the Filter feature which allows you to filter the report records according to the filter criteria you specify.
• Delete
  Specifies to enable the Delete feature which allows you to delete the selected object.
• Show Objects
  Specifies to enable the Show Objects feature which allows you to set which objects to show in the report.
• Font
  Specifies to enable the Font feature which allows you to set the font format of the selected text. The Font feature is available only when a label or field is selected.
• Background Color
  Specifies to enable the Background Color feature which allows you to change the background color of the selected text. The Background Color feature is available only when a label or field is selected.
• Align
  Specifies to enable the Align feature which allows you to make the selected text left, center or right aligned. The Align feature is available only when a label or field is selected.
• Merge
  Specifies to enable the Merge feature which allows you to merge the selected tabular cells into one.
• Split
  Specifies to enable the Split feature which allows you to split the selected tabular cell vertically or horizontally.
• Exit
  Specifies to enable the Exit feature which allows you to close the current web report and exit Web Report Studio.

View Mode

In this tab, you can turn on/off the required Web Report Studio view mode features for the profile.

• Save
  Specifies to enable the Save feature which allows you to save the changes of the current web report.
• Save As
  Specifies to enable the Save As feature which allows you to save a copy of the web report or the report template in the current web report to server resources.
• Export
  Specifies to enable the Export feature which allows you to export the report result to disk or version in various formats.
• Page Setup
  Specifies to enable the Page Setup feature which allows you to configure the report page settings.
• Print
  Specifies to enable the Print feature which displays the Print dialog for printing the web report result.
• Refresh
  Specifies to enable the Refresh feature which allows you to reload the report data.

Finishes creating the profile and leaves the dialog.

Cancel

Cancels creating the profile and leaves the dialog.

Select All

Has all options in the tabs checked.

Select None

Has all options in the tabs unchecked.

Displays the help document about this feature.
